Sharp Spinach (尖头苋菜), also known as Bayam, has long diamond-shaped leaves and thin stems. It is generally sweet with a hint of tanginess. It is commonly stir-fried or used in soups such as the popular dish Trio Eggs Spinach in Broth.
This spinach is rich in Vitamin A (& beta-carotene), calcium, potassium and iron. It is also packed full of proteins.
